So, shit went like this: I had finished Skyrim some months ago, amazing, blah blah blah.

Then, last month I bought myself a Sapphire HD 6850 - cool card, I was aiming for an GeForce 560 Ti (like a $100 US more, I was OK with that), but thanks to fucking new argentinian customs regulation now I can’t even get a simple piece of hardware without browsing like 24896798334 online stores.

I wanted to test some games, and went with Skyrim, it played beautifully at 1080p resolution (previously, I finished the game at 720p).

So, what happened? It turns out that in my last saved game, I wasw in the the Sky Haven Temple. So I just ran a while, and just for fun I fus-ro-dah’ed my companion. I jumped to see if it was still alive, and then it happened: I found a small wrecked boat with a flawless ruby. A flawless ruby that I very much needed to start a quest with a Daedra.

 That was, really, a Skyrim moment. Loved it. I’m eager to play it again in some months, with new mods, textures, and optimizations here and there =).
